Following the
(«World Medical Association»)
and its declarations,
the association aims at making the welfare of the patients in terms of the
Hippocratic Oath
its top priority, regardless of race, colour, gender,
language, religion, political and other convictions, national or social
background, property, birth or other conditions. This ideal follows the old
medical ideal of the Hippocratic oath, formulated properly in the
Geneva Convention
of 1948 in the aftermath of terror regimes. The «Hippocratic Society Switzerland» endorses outright the aim of the World Medical Association: “to serve humanity by endeavouring to achieve the highest international standards in Medical Education, Medical Science, Medical Art and Medical Ethics, and Health Care for all people in the world.” |
